2010-06-05 First ever show, victory!

Yesterday, we did our first ever public appearance.
A it was a successful one. We played a band contest show and we won!
We did not expect it at all, because there were all kind of music genres involved and there we some good bands.

The first price for this victory is a open air gig 2 weeks later, where we will share the stage with Slovakian Top 20 artists.

2010-01-31 Songs ready for mastering!

Songs from the second Signum Regis album are ready for mastering. This time, mastering will be done by Vancouver based sound wizard, Greg Reely.

Signum Regis are looking for a new record deal. The label, Locomotive Records, which released the debut album is bankrupt now and we have a free hand again.

2009-07-09 Recording status

The recording of the second Signum Regis album is in it's final phase. All drums, guitars, bass and most of the keyboards are recorded and pre-mixed. There are also vocals for 3 songs done, one of them is a cover of Helloween's Sole Survivor from their well-known album Master Of The Rings (1994). The performance of Göran is really mind-blowing.
We will have to complete few lyrics and record the remaining vocals. We expect that the album will finished this autumn.

2009-02-09 In March to studio again!

We will enter studio in March again, to record our second album. This time, it will be a concept album about a historical period which has not been covered by any other metal band yet.

The tracklist for the album was sorted out of about 20-25 songs written by the mainman Ronnie K?nig. Some of the songs were written after the release of debut album, but there are also some older songs, which fit to the concept well. Some tracks will have a special oriental vibe as a reference to the album story line.

The band will also concentrate on stepping out of the shadow of great old metal bands, not by denying their influence, but by creating a unique sound, athmosphere and original songwriting.

There is also a line-up change in the band. Ludek Struhar who recorded the drum tracks for the debut album was replaced by the former Vindex drummer - Adrian Ciel. The reason is, that Ludek is currently too busy with his non-musical activities and doesn't have enough time for drumming. There is no bad blood behind. The band is looking forward to collaborating with the best Slovak metal drummer again! Welcome on board, Adrian!

The label for the second album has not been announced yet.
